HORECA Oman 2024 Wraps Up as Yet Another Success
HORECA Oman, the annual meeting place for the hospitality and foodservice industries, came to a close on June 6, 2024. The opening ceremony of HORECA Oman, held on June 4 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Center, was attended by H.E. Sayyid Saud Bin Hilal Al-Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, and Mr. Selim Bin Omar Bin Suleiman Al Hashmi, Chairman of Al Nimr Expo, along with ambassadors, presidents of associations, industry leaders, and numerous media representatives.
Showcasing cutting-edge innovations and trends, the event was hailed as a remarkable success, attracting over 8,500 buyers and trade visitors, 200 exhibitors, and more than 1,500 local and international brands. Additionally, 100 participants competed in daily competitions, and the event facilitated numerous meetings for Omani companies, underscoring its vital role in the industry.
HORECA Oman maintained its vibrant program throughout the three-day event, hosting more than 32 competitions and masterclasses. Over 5,000 SQM of exhibition space, attendees had the opportunity to participate in various activities, including the Hospitality Salon Culinaire, the Junior Chef Competition, the Oman Barista Competition, the Bed Making Competition, and the Mocktail Competition. Additionally, culinary enthusiasts enjoyed a variety of activities such as live cooking showcases, B2B meetings, and networking galas.
Moreover, the event included an engaging series of panel discussions known as HORECA Talks, which delved into the most relevant industry topics. These sessions featured a wide range of speakers engaging in insightful discussions on various topics.
The event was a tribute to the outstanding individuals whose contributions have left a lasting impact on the culinary and hospitality sectors. Their dedication and expertise were celebrated throughout the event.
