HORECA Lebanon Sets the Stage for its 28th Edition
HORECA Lebanon, the annual meeting place for the hospitality and foodservice industries, celebrated the opening of its 28th edition at the Seaside Arena, Beirut. The event, which runs until April 19, boasts an exciting lineup of activities, shows, talks, competitions and events, all under the theme “Embrace the Pace of Hospitality.”
HORECA Lebanon’s opening ceremony welcomed H.E. Walid Nassar, Lebanese Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Georges Bouchikian, Lebanese Minster of Industry. Ambassadors, presidents of associations, industry leaders and a multitude of media representatives were also present.
The focal point of the inaugural day was HORECA Talks, delving into the industry’s most pressing issues. These talks, which are taking place daily, bring together tens of speakers for insightful discussions on a wide range of topics.
Following the successful launch, HORECA Lebanon continues with a vibrant program over the next few days. Visitors can attend events at the HORECA Theatre, including the Lebanese Bartenders Competition, the Mocktail Competition and the Lebanese Barista Competition. Culinary activities at the HORECA Stage include the Hospitality Salon Culinaire, Junior Chef Competition, masterclasses with renowned chefs from Lebanon and abroad and much more.
The HORECA Innovations Pavilion showcases innovative products and import substitutions created by local brands, providing a glimpse into the future of the industry.
Throughout the event, HORECA Lebanon will also host the Job Meeting Point, a platform for industry recruiters to attract top talents, and Technovation.
Joumana Dammous-Salame, managing director of Hospitality Services and HORECA event organizer, expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “This year’s HORECA edition is a labor of love, highlighting the warmth and richness of Lebanese hospitality. It’s a testament to our

In addition to the exhibition space and countless activities, HORECA Lebanon has organized a Hosted Buyers’ Program in collaboration with QOOT and the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI). Speaking about the program, Randa Pharaon, project manager of HORECA, said: “We have more than 30 buyers from 10 countries who will be meeting with local companies to explore their products and opportunities for export. This face-to-face dialog is essential, and we delighted to be offering this valuable platform at HORECA Lebanon.”
